KLIMA DAO
CC-5
Score Breakdown
Integrity
missing No evidence found in the extracted record for additionality testing, baseline method, leakage treatment, buffer pool, or reversals
inferred Sector is listed as “other,” but without documents the applicability of key integrity tests cannot be determined
Transparency
missing No public-facing MRV details (monitoring period, VVB, ERR claimed/verified) found in the extracted record
missing Registry completeness cannot be evaluated because no documentation was provided
Claim Safety
missing No evidence found for baseline approach, leakage justification, or verified performance, increasing over-crediting/greenwashing risk
inferred CCP/CORSIA status not found in the extracted record, so double-claim/eligibility risk cannot be screened
Documentation
missing Zero documents listed/used in the extracted record
missing Minimum extraction confidence is low, indicating poor readability of at least one key source
Detailed Analysis
Integrity
No project documents were available in the extracted record (no evidence documents listed and 0 documents used), so additionality, baseline validity, leakage treatment, and permanence provisions (e.g., buffer pool or reversal reporting) are not stated in available documents. Given these evidence gaps, integrity cannot be substantiated and is scored very low.
Transparency
Because no documents were extracted, key transparency items such as the VVB name, monitoring period, and any comparison of claimed versus verified emissions reductions are not found in the extracted record. Low extraction confidence further undermines the ability to rely on any missing or partial information, so transparency is scored near the floor (noting the post-scoring cap rule if documentation is below 3.0).
Claim Safety
With no stated baseline method, leakage justification, or verified results in the extracted record, there is no basis to judge over-crediting risk or the defensibility of claims. Eligibility signals (e.g., CCP status or CORSIA eligibility) are also not found in the extracted record, so double-claim/market-eligibility risk cannot be screened and claim safety remains very low.
Documentation
The extracted record lists no evidence documents and indicates 0 documents used, which is insufficient to support any quality assessment. The minimum extraction confidence is low, implying at least one key document was poorly readable, further reducing documentation quality and reliability.
Overall
There are no contradictions reported in the extracted record. Overall scoring is driven by the absence of any usable documentation (0 documents) and low extraction confidence, which together prevent verification of core integrity and MRV elements; note that the documentation score below 3.0 would cap transparency under the stated gate rules.
Audit Analysis
The extracted record contains no usable project documentation, so core quality determinants (additionality, baseline, leakage, permanence, and MRV results) cannot be assessed. With low extraction confidence and zero documents used, the risk of over-crediting and misleading claims is high due to lack of evidence.
Project Description
Klima DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization focused on increasing the cost of carbon emissions to disrupt the emission markets. By accelerating the price growth of carbon assets, Klima DAO strives to motivate companies to reduce their emissions. By adopting the OHM-pioneered bonding mechanism to internalize carbon credits, Klima DAO incentivizes the new supply of Base Carbon Tonnes (BCT), a tokenized version of carbon credits, on the blockchain. Moreover, the project aims to store as many BCT as possible in its treasury by buying them for KLIMA.nMarket participants can buy BCT on the market and bond them with KLIMA for a discount. After five days, they receive discounted KLIMA, which they can either sell for a profit or decide to stake with the protocol to expand their share of the KLIMA supply. This mechanism follows the one introduced by Olympus DAO for acquiring protocol-owned liquidity. In Klima DAO’s case, the price of KLIMA is backed by the BCT in its treasury, which, in turn, is backed by the price of real-world carbon emissions certificates.
Red Flags
- No official project documents were available in the extracted record (0 documents used), preventing assessment of additionality, baseline, leakage, and MRV
- Low extraction confidence indicates at least one key document was poorly readable, further reducing reliability

Cosa migliorerebbe questo punteggio
- Provide the CAR project documents (PDD, monitoring report(s), and verification/validation report(s)) including baseline method, additionality test, leakage assessment, and any permanence/buffer provisions
- Publish registry and MRV details (VVB name, monitoring periods, claimed vs verified ERs, and any corrective actions/material findings) and clarify CCP/CORSIA eligibility status
Questi suggerimenti indicano quali prove pubbliche aggiuntive potrebbero migliorare il livello di confidenza di questa valutazione. Non garantiscono un punteggio futuro più alto.
