By accessing CarbonMeld you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Nature of the service
CarbonMeld provides automated methodology-based scores for carbon credit projects derived from public documentation. Scores are informational outputs of a standardized pipeline and do not constitute investment advice, legal advice, or certification. CarbonMeld is not a registry or certification body.
Articles published on the CarbonMeld blog are drafted with AI assistance — in many cases entirely by AI — starting from the public sources cited in each article. They are market analysis and commentary, not investment advice, and despite source checks may contain errors or outdated figures.
Data sources and non-affiliation
Project data published on CarbonMeld is collected from publicly accessible sources, including carbon credit registries (Verra, Gold Standard, CDM/UNFCCC, CORSIA/ICAO, and others) and carbon credit marketplaces (ClimateTrade, Carbonmark, Toucan, and others).
CarbonMeld is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or commercially associated with any of the registries or marketplaces cited. Registry names, marketplace names, and project identifiers are used solely for identification and attribution purposes.
Project metadata (name, country, vintage, credit type, availability, pricing) is sourced from publicly listed information. Registry documents (PDD, monitoring reports, verification reports) are sourced from public registry platforms. CarbonMeld does not access or publish non-public, confidential, or proprietary data from any registry or marketplace.
If a registry, marketplace, or project developer believes that specific data has been reproduced in a way that violates their terms of service, they may contact [email protected] to request a review.
Permitted use
You may use CarbonMeld for personal research, professional analysis, and business decision-making. Systematic scraping, reproduction of the database, or commercial redistribution of scores requires prior written permission.
Paid services (Premium)
CarbonMeld offers paid Premium access as a 30-day pass. The pass is a one-time purchase: it is not a subscription, it is not billed again and it does not renew automatically. For 30 days from purchase it grants access to the premium content of all rated projects, their PDF reports and the CarbonMeld API. Buying another pass while one is active extends the expiry by 30 days.
Fair use: a pass covers up to 30 different projects per day, counted together across the site, PDF reports and the API; the count resets daily at 00:00 UTC. API keys are also limited to 300 requests per day. Systematic extraction of the database remains prohibited as stated under Permitted use.
Access is tied to the email address used at purchase and works through login links sent to that address. A reminder email is sent 3 days before the pass expires.
My portfolio: while a pass is active you can save up to 20 projects; they do not count towards the daily limit, and the portfolio can be changed up to 10 times per week. Change alerts are sent by email after an hourly check of the public record; they are informational, best-effort notices, and are paused while you have no active pass.
Complimentary unlocks: CarbonMeld may grant free access to the premium content of a specific project (for example to its developer). Such an unlock is permanent for that project, does not extend to other projects and does not count towards the daily limit. Single-project unlocks purchased before 26 September 2026 remain valid on the same terms.
Prices are listed on the Premium page and shown at checkout before payment. Card prices exclude VAT; applicable VAT is calculated automatically at checkout based on your country. Crypto passes are paid through NOWPayments at the listed price.
Card purchases require acceptance of these terms via a mandatory checkbox at checkout. Crypto purchases are one-time and imply acceptance of these terms.
Refunds: all sales are final and no refunds are provided. Premium content is digital content delivered immediately upon payment; by completing the purchase you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose any statutory right of withdrawal, where applicable law allows such waiver. If you delete your account from the account page, any remaining pass days are lost and are not refunded. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived by law.
Paid access does not change the nature of the content: scores and analyses remain informational outputs and do not constitute investment advice, legal advice, or certification.

Scores are provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or completeness. CarbonMeld makes no representations regarding the investment suitability of any project. Users bear full responsibility for investment and purchasing decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CarbonMeld is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or reliance on this service.
